Repositorio Institucional Universidad EIA. https://repository.eia.edu.co/handle/11190/3523136 páginasRESUMEN: En el presente trabajo se hace un análisis del cine colombiano en el cual se desean obtener conclusiones a temas específicos que aquejan el sector, para posteriormente poder hacer una propuesta en la cual se plantee la creación de una entidad que permita concentrar sus esfuerzos para solucionar los problemas que se encontraron. Para poder entender la cinematografía es necesario comprender su cadena productiva y el desarrollo que ha tenido durante la historia, tanto en el mundo como en el país. Una vez se haya entendido el funcionamiento, se puede avanzar a hacer el análisis de los problemas que tiene el sector en la actualidad. Para ello es importante establecer una idea general de las condiciones mundiales y cuáles son los papeles que cumplen los diferentes países y continentes. Cuando se tenga claro el posicionamiento de Latinoamérica en el mundo y de Colombia en Latinoamérica, será posible concentrarse en el análisis concreto del país. Al abordar el país se debe comenzar por identificar sus condiciones generales respecto a las obras nacionales e internacionales, al igual que la tendencia de la demanda interna y la tendencia del recaudo. Para este momento ya hay una clara identificación de la industria colombiana en el sector cinematográfico, por ello, se procede a desagregar las diferentes etapas de la cadena productiva del cine y se hace un análisis de los problemas propios que debe enfrentar cada eslabón de esta cadena. Posteriormente se discutirán las entidades que rigen el sector cinematográfico para entender su papel en la organización de esta materia dentro del país. En este preciso momento es conveniente hacer una comparación con el cine español, para poder obtener más hechos que enfaticen en las necesidades actuales de la industria cinematográfica colombiana y para entender como un país con condiciones muy semejantes a las de Colombia está muy distante cinematográficamente por haber concentrado sus esfuerzos en ciertos aspectos que la industria local no considera preocupaciones de primer nivel. Al terminar este recorrido se tendrán identificados todos los puntos clave en los cuales se debe trabajar para mejorar las posibilidades del cine colombiano en el futuro. Por ello, se hará un último capítulo de análisis en el cual se recopilarán todos los aspectos anteriores y se agruparán en unos Factores Críticos de Éxito que lograrán un acercamiento inicial a los focos de atención que se desarrollarán en la propuesta. La propuesta se hará basada en las conclusiones que se obtengan del diagnóstico realizado del cine colombiano. En esta propuesta se hará una planeación estratégica de la entidad que se propone crear para enfrentar los problemas de la industria; en esta planeación se esbozarán unos proyectos específicos que se necesitan desarrollar. Para finalizar la propuesta se generará una estructura organizacional en la cual se explicarán las funciones que deberían tener los altos mandos de la organización.ABSTRACT: The present paper contains an analysis of the Colombian industry to obtain conclusions of the specific problems that have to be confronted at the present time; this analysis is later used to formulate a solution which consists of designing an entity which will be able to concentrate the industries’ efforts to solve the problems that were found. In order to understand the theme it is necessary to identify the productive chain of the cinematographic industry and to have an idea of the way the film industry has developed with time, this review of time has to enclose world as well as national events. Once these concepts are understood it will be possible to continue the actual analysis, which has to begin by giving perspective to the worldwide conditions and explaining the roles that some countries and continents play in the world scenario, so that Latin America may be identified and within it Colombia may be pointed out. When the countries intricacies are analyzed, the beginning must be the general aspects of the national industry compared to the movies that are imported, as well as the tendency of internal demand and internal revenue. At this moment the position of the Colombian industry will be completely identified, so it will be helpful to separate the different functions that make up the productive chain and analyze the specific problems of each link of the chain. Afterward the governing entities will be discussed to understand their roll in this business within the country. It is then convenient to compare Colombian cinema with Spanish cinema to obtain more facts that emphasize in the industries’ needs and to understand that a country which has many similar cultural conditions is very distant in its cinematographic industry because it concentrated its efforts in certain key aspects which were not considered primordial in Colombia. A last chapter is in order to highlight the most relevant aspects that have to be targeted to create better possibilities for the industry in the future. This last chapter will gather all the conclusions and will unite similar subjects to create a group of Critical Factors of Success that will be used to create the main areas which will be develop in the proposal. The proposal will be based in the conclusions that were obtained form the diagnosis of the Colombian industry. This proposal consists of the strategic planning of the organization that should be created to confront the problems that have been detected; during this stage some projects will be exposed.
