La tasa de incremento de la población, el plan de ordenamiento territorial y la falta de medidas públicas tomadas, han vuelto esta problemática un asunto que debe ser asumido por toda la comunidad, tanto por entidades públicas, como la propia ciudadanía, instituciones educativas y empresas en el sector privado. Por parte de las organizaciones públicas y las encargadas de la gestión ambiental en el territorio, se han implementado medidas tanto de monitoreo, como de regulación de emisiones de contaminantes atmosféricos (Área Metropolitana Valle de Aburrá, 2017), acompañadas de estrategias para mitigar la contingencia ambiental con la cual se busca actualizar estándares nacionales de calidad del aire y métodos de vigilancia y monitoreo del mismo. Sin embargo, las acciones presentadas por las entidades encargadas no han sido actualizadas en todo el territorio nacional y es poca la gestión realizada para mejorar e implementar nuevas políticas y tecnologías ambientales. Por lo cual se presenta este proyecto como una herramienta que pueda ser utilizada para el fortalecimiento y mejora del sistema existente, siendo la vigilancia y consciencia del estado del ambiente el primer factor importante para la mejora de este. Donde se busca por medio del ejercicio investigativo, construir una herramienta con la que se suplan necesidades actuales del territorio del Valle de Aburrá tanto en materia ambiental como a nivel tecnológico, de igual forma realizar su validación en campo, con una integración de una solución mecatrónica para la verificación de los datos brindados por esta y su análisis posterior, con lo que se presente una herramienta que permita alimentar diferentes modelos meteorológicos a diferentes alturas.ABSTRACT: Currently, the Aburrá Valley presents a problem of environmental pollution, which has been a controversial issue in recent years, highly treated by different public and private entities, which seek the welfare of citizens and the environment (MuleSoft, n.d.). The rate of population increase, the land use plan and the lack of public measures taken, have turned this problem into an issue that must be assumed by the entire community, both by public entities, as well as by the citizens themselves, educational institutions and companies in the private sector. On the part of public organizations and those in charge of environmental management in the territory, measures have been implemented both for monitoring and regulating emissions of atmospheric pollutants (Área Metropolitana Valle de Aburrá, 2017), accompanied by strategies to mitigate the environmental contingency with which it seeks to update national standards of air quality and methods of surveillance and monitoring of the same. However, the actions presented by the entities in charge have not been updated throughout the national territory and there is little management carried out to improve and implement new environmental policies and technologies. Therefore, this project is presented as a tool that can be used to strengthen and improve the existing system, being the surveillance and awareness of the state of the environment the first important factor for its improvement.
