We must implement a social enterprise that seeks welfare for the great mass of anonymous citizens, that generate the creation of organizations based on the simple strength of mutual aid and promote a cooperative attitude among people who join together to advance and improve their quality of life. This is the enterprise of the future, preserving the identity of man in harmony with their social welfare, equitable and inclusive. The social enterprise is itself a model with great potential for the development of a region. However, limited diffusion, which offered little preparation for a social enterprise and raise the minimum amount of projects that are of this type compared to only contribute to the special interests, make it an unpopular among entrepreneurs. The work seeks to conceptualize the term social entrepreneurship and to give people the knowledge needed to implement it as a mechanism of social development. After this is a strategy that seeks to promote or spread as an alternative to achieve this development.El emprendimiento social debe adquirir gran importancia en varios aspectos para los líderes sociales de la actual generación: emprendimiento no sólo en lo social, sino también en lo económico, cultural, político, ecológico y tecnológico. Debemos implementar un emprendimiento social que busque el bienestar para esa gran masa de ciudadanos anónimos, que genere la creación de organizaciones sencillas inspiradas en la fortaleza de la ayuda mutua y que promueva una actitud cooperante entre personas que se unen para progresar conjuntamente y mejorar su calidad de vida. Este es el emprendimiento del futuro, el que preserva la identidad del ser humano en concordancia con su bienestar social, equitativo e incluyente. El emprendimiento social es en sí un modelo con mucho potencial para lograr el desarrollo de una región. Sin embargo, su escasa difusión, la poca preparación que se ofrece para levantar una empresa social y la cantidad mínima de proyectos que se presentan de este tipo en comparación con los que sólo aportan a los intereses particulares, lo convierten en una solución poco popular entre los emprendedores. El trabajo busca conceptualizar el término emprendimiento social para brindar a las personas el conocimiento necesario para implementarlo como mecanismo de desarrollo social.
