Establecer el futuro incierto, trae consigo el pensamiento de conocer la técnica para instruirse y enfrentar su devenir. Este concepto es el principal objetivo que busca la prospectiva desde cualquier punto de vista. Aplicarlo al sector de las ciencias de la salud, resulta un aporte bastante significativo para los especialistas que ven la tecnología como el soporte en que se basa la ciencia para enfrentar los retos que ella misma propone, como mecanismos de innovación que contribuyen al bienestar de la comunidad y que auspician los desafíos que la naturaleza del cuerpo humano demanda. Como punto de partida para el desarrollo del estudio se requiere tener la contextualización de las técnicas. Esto se logra determinando el estado del arte con la documentación obtenida por medio de las visitas a las instituciones promotoras de salud más destacada en el campo de la CMI y conceptos de médicos especialistas. Es importante determinar el estado de la tecnología a nivel mundial, los desarrollos que se han implementado y que hoy en día repercuten en tecnologías comerciales que se distribuyen en los quirófanos de los hospitales de mayor renombre en el mundo. Como última medida del estado del arte, se reúne la información de tecnologías que se encuentran en una fase de investigación y desarrollo pero que aun no se han distribuido para ser comercializadas. La información contenida en el estado del arte, junto con la opinión del panel de especialistas que validan las hipótesis, son las bases sustentadas del cuestionario de preguntas enfocadas a los puntos clave de las tecnologías, que están siendo incursionadas en el campo de la cirugía. Las personas determinadas para responder el cuestionario se convierten implícitamente en la clave para establecer las prospectivas en los diferentes caminos que irrumpe la tecnología. Finalmente, se pretende entregar un posible panorama futuro con delimitación de la clasificación de los temas en función de la fecha de materialización y el grado de importancia que estas representen para el sector médico. Los enfoques principales que se toman en cuenta como posibles factores con grandes diferencias evolutivas a nivel mundial en comparación a Colombia, hacen referencia a los sistemas ópticos o de visualización donde el área de imagenología está cobrando importancia para apoyar las tecnologías de imágenes guiadas con el fin de abordar procedimientos cada vez menos invasivos, la incursión de instrumentales para el apoyo de técnicas transluminales por orificios naturales, como mecanismos de mínimas incisiones, desarrollos en sistemas robóticos asistidos, sistemas de entrenamiento quirúrgico como preparación para las nuevas técnicas, novedosos sistemas endoscópicos y adaptación de quirófanos híbridos como temas principales que comprenden los caminos más recurrentes y de mayor interés en desarrollo. El estudio se enfoca en dichos temas y los resultados se validan analizando cada una de las hipótesis.ABSTRACT: the development of a technology foresight study in minimally invasive surgery (MIC) is proposed to analyze the most decisive approaches of medical technology and it’s evolution to present and future in surgical techniques in order to contribute in the research of technology development in health care field but specially in the surgical one. Determining the uncertain future the thought of knowing the techniques for instruction and face the constant change. This concept is the main objetive sought by this prospectivefrom any point of view. Applying this to the field of health sciences is an important contribution to the specialists who see medical technology as the médium in which science meets proposed challenges that human body demands. Having the contextualization of the techniques is a must as a starting point for the development of the study. This is achieved by determining the state of the art starting from documentation obtained visiting outstanding health promoting institutions in CMI fiel and the opinión of health care specialist. It is important to determinate the state of technology worldwide, the developments that have been implemented that affect today’s comercial technologies distributed in the operating romos of the most renowned hospitals around the world. As a final part of the state of the art, all the information about technologies that are in a phase of research and development but have not been distributed yet to be commercialized is gathered. The information containedin the state of the art along with the opinión of the panel of experts valídate the assumptions are the basis of a questionnaire focused on key technologies that are being raided in the field of surgery. Persons who completed the questionnaire implicitly bécame the key to establishing different ways that technology breaks. It is intended to offer a possible picture of a future division of the classification of subjects according to the date of realization and the degree of importance that these pose to the medical sector is intended. The main approaches that are taken into account as large worldwide developmental differences possible factors compared to Colombia have as main topics common paths and the most interest under development, and they refer to the display optical systems in which the area of imaging is becoming increasingly important to support guided imagery technology to perform less invasive procedures, the incursion of instrumental techniques to aid natural transluminal orifice as mechanisms of minimal incisions, advances in robotic assisted systems, surgical training systems as preparation for the new techniques, new endoscopic systems and adapting hybrid operating rooms.
