Repositorio Institucional Universidad EIA. https://repository.eia.edu.co/handle/11190/263788 páginasRESUMEN: El objeto del presente trabajo es el desarrollo de una propuesta de un plan estratégico para la empresa Diagnosticentro Diesel La Montaña, dedicada al diagnóstico y reparación de sistemas de inyección y turbocargadores de motores diésel ubicada en Medellín-Antioquia, ya que actualmente la empresa no cuenta con una planificación, objetivos a largo plazo que establezcan un curso de acción a seguir e identificación de oportunidades y amenazas que puedan generar una ventaja competitiva frente a otras empresas del mismo sector. Se ha tomado como modelo de direccionamiento estratégico el propuesto por Fred R. David (2013),este incluye la elaboración del modelo de las cinco fuerzas de Porter para analizar el mercado y la competencia; una matriz de evaluación de factores internos para analizar las principales fortalezas y debilidades de las áreas funcionales de la empresa; la evaluación de la misión se realiza con base a factores como su declaración de actitud, su compromiso con el crecimiento, su auto concepto, su definición de cliente y servicio. Respecto a la visión se analiza su orientación estratégica a largo plazo, si es consecuente con la imagen futura que la empresa aspira a tener y su funcionamiento como motor de la creación de este escenario. En caso de que la misión y visión actuales de la empresa no cumplan todos los requisitos y componentes anteriormente planteados, se formulará una nueva propuesta. Teniendo en cuenta los resultados obtenidos anteriormente, se establecen objetivos acordes a las capacidades y situación de la empresa, siendo coherentes con las metas y aspiraciones organizacionales. Por último, se presentan las diferentes estrategias que se deben implementar en las diferentes áreas de la empresa para el cumplimiento de los objetivos.ABSTRACT: The purpose of this paper is the development of a proposal for a strategic plan for the company Diagnosticentro Diesel La Montaña dedicated to the diagnosis and repair of injection systems and diesel engine turbochargers located in Medellin-Antioquia, since there is currently a major gap in this area. The company does not have planned long-term objectives that establish a course of action to follow or identification of opportunities and threats that can generate a competitive advantage over other companies in the same sector. The strategic direction model proposed by Fred R. David (2013) has been taken as a starting point. It includes the development of Porter's five forces model to analyze the market and the competition; an evaluation matrix of internal factors to analyze the main strengths and weaknesses of the company's functional areas; and the evaluation of the mission based on factors such as attitude statement, commitment to growth, self-concept, and definition of customer and service. With respect to the vision, its long-term strategic orientation is analyzed, if it is consistent with the future image that the company aspires to have and its operation as a driver of the creation of this scenario. In case the company's current mission and vision do not meet all the requirements and components set out above, a new proposal will be formulated. Taking into account the results obtained previously, objectives are established according to the capacities and situation of the company, being consistent with the organizational goals and aspirations.
