Repositorio Institucional Universidad EIA. https://repository.eia.edu.co/handle/11190/359586 páginasRESUMEN: La Asociación Medellín de Lucha contra el Cáncer MEDICÁNCER, es una entidad sin ánimo de lucro, que desde hace 27 años trabaja a favor de los pacientes y familias mas desprotegidas en la atención integral al cáncer, brindando promoción, protección, recuperación y rehabilitación de la salud a las personas afectadas y programas de apoyo, prevención y detección a sus familias y comunidad en general. Buscando que su labor pueda verse reflejada en la disminución de casos de personas enfermas y en el mejoramiento de la calidad de vida de sus pacientes, MEDICÁNCER está en un proceso de mejoramiento continuo por lo que han decidido desarrollar un sistema de calidad con miras a obtenerla certificación bajo la norma ISO 9000 – 2001. Esto implica la definición de unas metas claras y evaluables a través de un plan estratégico donde se definan cuales serán sus ventajas competitivas para fortalecerse en ellas, apoyados en el sistema de gestión de la calidad y en la creación de una cultura interna, donde todas las labores realizadas representen los lineamientos de la institución Siendo conscientes del compromiso que debe tener la dirección y en general toda persona que pertenezca a la institución, con el cliente, se crean herramientas en todo el sistema (desde la contratación de proveedores y de personal hasta la prestación directa del servicio) para controlar los productos y servicios no conformes con la normatividad, los procedimientos y las expectativas generadas, para lograr, mantener y mejorar la satisfacción del cliente.ABSTRACT: The Medellín Association Against the Cancer MEDICANCER, is one institution without non profitable organization since 1977, has work with the patients and the families unprotected in the intention of work with all kind of cancer, to offer promotion, recovering and rehabilitation of the health in the people affected, created new programs of support, prevention and detention of the families and general community. MEDICANCER is working for their labor could be reflected in de decrease of the cases in the sick people also, the improvement of the life in their patients, MEDICANCER is in a process of continue improvement for the development of the quality system, working to obtain the ISO 9000 – 2001 certificate. This implies the definition of one of their clear and valuables goals through a strategic plan, where there are define in the competitive advantages to fortify itself in then, supported in the management system of the quality and the creation of the internal culture, where all the realized labors represent the lineaments of the institution.
