Contreras Peréz, Oscar Eduardo2024-05-03T16:21:53Z2024-05-03T16:21:53Z2016https://repository.eia.edu.co/handle/11190/6541112 páginasLa evolución tecnológica avanza cada día con mayor velocidad, lo que puede representar una amenaza para las personas, compañías y países que no se adapten a ellas, esto sumado a la globalización hace más competitivos los mercados, donde el que posea el ultimo desarrollo tecnológico tendrá la ventaja de ser más competitivo, debido a que en muchos casos los nuevos avances tecnológicos permiten reducir costos, aumentar la velocidad de respuesta y proveer un mejor servicio, como lo que se propone con el sistema de lectura automática, el cual permitirá una reducción sustancial de los costos relacionados con la lectura en sitio, mes a mes, de los consumos registrados en los medidores, de los más de siete millones de usuarios conectados hoy en día a la red de gas natural en Colombia, esto se pretende realizar por medio del envió de los datos de los consumos de los usuarios directamente a cada central de las compañías proveedoras del combustible gaseoso. El sistema de lectura automática plantea un aumento en la competitividad del sector energético del país, debido a la reducción de costos operacionales en la distribución del gas, este ahorro se podría traducir en una disminución del valor del metro cubico de gas natural que pagan los usuarios actualmente en Colombia. EL sistema además de ser una ayuda en la economía de los ciudadanos, también es un negocio sustentable en temas ambientales debido a la reducción de los gases de efecto invernadero que se producen mensualmente en el transporte del personal que realiza las lecturas in situ. Como si fueran pocas todas las ventajas descritas anteriormente acerca del sistema, el proyecto de comercialización de los equipos de medición se sometió a un proceso de investigación, análisis técnico-operativo y finalmente un estudio financiero donde se corroboro su viabilidad y sostenibilidad en el tiempo.The technological developments is rapidly growing every day, and that could be a threat for the people, companies and countries that won’t adapt to it, this threat added to the effect of globalization makes more competitive the markets, in which those who have the latest technological advance will have the competitive advantage due to the fact that new developments allow reducing costs, rapid responses and provide a better service, and that’s the purpose of the automatic reading system which allows a significant cost reduction related with the traditional system of reading on site month after month the quantities of gas consumption in the more than seven million users that are connected to the Colombian gas network. This would be achieving by sending the information of gas consumption directly to headquarters of the natural gas suppliers. The automatic Reading system propose an increase in the competitiveness of the Colombian energy sector due to decrease of operational costs in the distribution of gas and that reduction could be transformed in a decrease of the value of the cubic meter of gas that the Colombian users pay every month. The system also is an environmentally sustainable business due to the reduction of greenhouse gases that are produced monthly in the transportation of the workers who made on site readings of the gas consumption.
