Para que sea posible la realización de ello, se realiza una búsqueda de información en bases de datos académicas y científicas, para obtener los conceptos principales, que den una idea más clara de lo que se hace referencia a la gestión de riesgos financieros. Con la claridad de los conceptos posteriormente se procederá a la búsqueda de microempresas ubicadas en la ciudad de Medellín con las que se realizará el modelo que servirá como apoyo en su búsqueda de crecimiento económico y empresarial. Con la realización de esta investigación se realiza una contribución para las pequeñas empresas a tomar la mejor decisión posible en su búsqueda de crecimiento teniendo en cuenta los riesgos financieros y encaminados a la mayor generación de valor posible. La metodología a implementar en la investigación es de carácter cuantitativo. Para la realización del modelo, es necesario la obtención de información de primera mano (de las microempresas), por lo cual se realizan entrevistas que permitan obtener información más específica, cuantificable y de carácter necesario para identificar puntos clave como la tolerancia al riesgo que posee la empresa y expectativas de crecimiento a futuro. Para la implementación de las entrevistas se realiza un aplicativo basado en un lienzo de PowerApps que permite la integración de diversos formularios en una misma interfaz y que estará conectado a una lista de SharePoint que permite la integración de la información en un único repositorio. La investigación realiza una muestra no probabilística ya que la población de micro y pequeñas empresas del sector servicio de comidas en Medellín es grande y por ende se dificultaría la realización de la investigación por el tiempo disponible para el cumplimiento de ello. Los resultados principales obtenidos a través de esta investigación es que las MiPymes del sector gastronómico de la ciudad de Medellín poseen poca información de los diferentes riesgos financieros a los que se pueden enfrentar en el ejercicio diario de sus actividades, haciéndolas propensas a asumir costos o perdidas que puedan llegar a un cierre temporal o incluso permanente de sus establecimientos y actividades. Con este tipo de investigaciones se pueden tener referentes para futuros estudios en los que se pretendan obtener mayor conocimiento en los diferentes sectores económicos en las que las micro, pequeñas y medianas empresas son punto fundamental para el crecimiento económico, social y por qué no cultural, de las diferentes ciudades y departamentos de nuestro país.ABSTRACT: This thesis seeks to design a risk management model that allows micro-enterprises in the gastronomic sector (restaurants) in the city of Medellin, Antioquia to manage their main financial risks that they may face in their search for growth. To make this possible, a search for information in academic and scientific databases is carried out to obtain the main concepts that give a clearer idea of what is referred to when managing financial risks. With the clarity of the concepts, we will search for micro-enterprises located in the city of Medellin for which the model will serve as “support” in their search for economic and business growth. The aim of this work consists in helping small companies to make the best possible decision in their search for growth, considering the financial risks when generating and maximizing corporate value. The methodology implemented in this research is quantitative since. For the development of the model, it is necessary to obtain firsthand information (from the microenterprises). Therefore, interviews will be conducted to obtain more specific, quantifiable, and necessary information to identify key points, such as the risk tolerance of the company and future growth expectations. For the implementation of the interviews, an application based on a PowerApps canvas will be implemented that allows the integration of various forms within the same interface that will be connected to a SharePoint list that allows the integration of information in a single repository. The research is carried out with a non-probabilistic sample since the population of micro and small companies in the food service sector in Medellin is large and therefore it is difficult to carry out the research due to the time available for the fulfillment of it. The main results obtained through this research is that the MSMEs of the gastronomic sector in the city of Medellin have little information on the different financial risks they may face in the daily exercise of their activities, making them prone to assume costs or losses that may lead to a temporary or even permanent closure of their establishments and activities.
