description Project management (PM) is a specialized discipline of management, which had its origins in the 1950s. It is currently a line of knowledge used in various fields of science and practice, especially in management, business, operations research and industrial engineering. Business models (BM) are the subject of study in many types of empirical and conceptual research, both by academics and by individual companies. Finally, business performance (BP) is a criterion that is widely used to study different organizational phenomena, especially business success. The purpose of this study was to develop a conceptual model to analyze the relationship between PM, BM and ED. The development of the work involved a narrative review of the literature. As a result, four hypotheses and three categories of variables were established. Hypothesis: H1. PM theory offers principles, tools, techniques and concepts that can improve ED. H2. PM theory offers principles, tools, techniques and concepts, which can improve BM. H3. There is a significant relationship between BM and ED. H4. PM theory offers conceptual elements that can act as moderating variables in the relationship between the MF and the ED. Categories of variables: PM (governance, maturity models, efficiency, PMO, innovation, value creation). BM (resources, capabilities, organizational structure, technology, innovation, value proposition, customers, markets, value chain, channels, cost structure, transactions, governance, relationships, revenue model). DE (economic approach and competing value approach).

BM (resources, capabilities, organizational structure, technology, innovation, value proposition, customers, markets, value chain, channels, cost structure, transactions, governance, relationships, revenue model).
