Integrated model towards transformational leadership for the management of research projects in the Minuto de Dios University Corporation - UNIMINUTO

The research developed an integrated model towards transformational leadership, for the Management of Research Projects in the Minuto de Dios University Corporation - UNIMINUTO. For the elaboration of the instrument "Transformational Leadership Questionnaire" the variables or dimensions idealized influence and inspiring motivation were used. This instrument was applied to 8 Research Coordinators, who are assigned to different locations, Vice-rectory or Rectory of the UNIMINUTO System. The results show that the transformational leadership style of the Research Coordinators has a positive impact on the management of research projects. It was found that the phases of the project life cycle, the areas of knowledge of project management and the emerging elements of transformational leadership have a direct relationship, which led to the generation of a model to articulate the synergies between thecomponents.
