Summary: | This research stems from the interest of addressing the impact of the role of women in the Colombian military context. A transactional methodology with a mixed approach was designed, taking the principles of Denison and Fraser. The objective was to determine the influence of organizational culture on the perception of gender equity in the ten divisions of the National Army. 2,848 people participated, including officers, non-commissioned officers, and civilians. Gamma R, scope, correlation, and word cloud were used, observing a strong incidence of organizational culture in the elements of gender equity. Values and empowerment are the most salient aspects of military culture. Men obtained a more consensual perception than women. The special forces and aviation have a higher level of scope in organizational culture and gender equality. The higher hierarchy grades, especially Lieutenant Colonels and Colonels, reflect a greater impact between the variables. |
