Summary: | This thesis addresses the crucial role of the notarial function in Colombia and its direct impact on judicial decongestion; The general objective of the research is to analyze in depth the scope of the notarial function as a mechanism to alleviate the burden on judicial offices in the Colombian context. In this sense, to achieve this purpose, a qualitative methodology has been applied that allows an exploration detailed and comprehensive of the notarial and judicial reality. The study delves into the traditional functions of notaries, highlighting their role in the authentication of documents, the protocolization of legal acts and extrajudicial conciliation, in addition, the new mechanisms introduced are examined, such as the digitalization of processes and the adoption of electronic signature, which have significantly transformed the dynamics of the notarial function since these advances have not only streamlined daily procedures, but have also improved the efficiency and accessibility of notarial services. |
