Summary: | Technological advances have become fundamental tools for the progress of electronic commerce in Colombia and the world; In turn, legal mechanisms and jurisdictional actions have been implemented for the protection of the consumer that is part of that consumer relationship, and to that extent it is important to investigate how much they know and exercise them, because it depends on that rights as electronic consumer are guaranteed. However, from the results obtained in the research developed, it is clear that there is little knowledge of Law 1480 of 2011, which is the guideline for consumers in the country, and which contains the rights and defense mechanisms of the same ( security in transactions, reversal of the payment made, popular and group actions, liability for damages for defective product and consumer protection, among others), which results in the vulnerability of the electronic consumer before the supplier or producer, what is needed to strengthen their knowledge, among those who come to these transactional media, and its application to make them more effective. |
