Liderazgo democrático y calidad de gestión en las empresas comerciales

The research purpose was to determine the relationship between the democratic leadership and quality management in commercial enterprises in the city of Barranquilla. Methodology descriptive and correlational, non-experimental design, transactional and field; the study population comprised 27 officials: (3) managers of operations, warehouses, Carulla (24) administrators, Super stores Olimpica (S.A.O) and stores success, to which a questionnaire was applied, reliability was obtained from the instrument of 0. 93r with coefficient of Cronbach's alpha, which indicates that it is highly reliable. The descriptive statistical analysis, with distribution of frequencies and percentages, to determine the relationship between variables the Spearman correlation was used. The results show the relationship between both variables with a high-intensity, in that it increases the democratic leadership, is more likely to be achieved a higher quality of management and vice versa. Concluding that due to deficiencies in the approaches and trends of democratic leadership, considerably affect the consolidation of the factors of the quality of management.
