Summary:This research was aimed at incorporating the gender perspective as the competence of teachers, for the reduction of violence related to the gender sexual diversity of high school students of the Carolina Educational Institution of Planeta Rica, Córdoba, Colombia, for this purpose followed a methodology of qualitative type that from hermeneutic exercise s looking or understanding the incorporation of gender perspective among secondary education teachers. The results account for the practices by which teachers normalize biases around gender sexual diversity in the educational environment; the approaches that from the perspective of gender sexual diversity are included in the programs of the subjects taught by the teachers; aspects that allowed to propose the design of a Pedagogical Guide aimed at teachers for the attention to sexual diversity of gender from the integration of a research community that uses joint research projects. As a main conclusion it can be noted that from the revised literature there is an expanded theoretical framework that allows to see how conflicts related to gender and sexuality between high school students are reduced by incorporating the gender perspective from the competencies of the faculty of the Carolina Educational Institution of Planeta Rica, Córdoba, Colombia.
