Summary:The water issue today claims to be of great importance for the country and the world, our models of exploitation of water resources on way threaten the continuance of this vital resource in time, and limiting the possibilities of use, plus restrict the statutory right of communities to have an optimum water consumption , for them to be exploited in such a way that they are not affected the same opportunities to future generations . For this reason this study that seeks to identify the social representation that student and faculty communities of some schools malambo and Barranquilla , having been active in eco- audits by the students of the participating schools and some presents surveys, an analysis that allowed us to raise some conclusions concerning the social representation that this target group fearlessness as a result, as regards the issue of water for them as individuals and as a student community was achieved.
