Summary: | Intimate partner violence is a widely studied phenomenon due to the characteristics and cycles that occur there. However, few studies are found in the literature when inquiring about the analysis of the efficiency of interventions. This study aims to evaluate the empirical evidence of cognitive-behavioral intervention programs for the care of women victims of intimate partner violence aged 18 to 65 years. For this purpose, an electronic search was carried out in the databases Scopus, ScienceDirect, Web of Science, PsycInfo, Sage Journals, Google Academic, Scielo, Redalyc, Biomed BMC, Dialnet, Pubmed and Medic Latina without temporality of year, were included original empirical studies and completed research articles. The following keywords were used: Methodological Terms (Psychological intervention, Psychological Program, Psychological treatment, Cognitive behavioral therapy, Psychological intervention, Psychological program, Psychological treatment and Cognitive behavioral therapy) and the Clinical Terms of the Construct (Domestic Violence, Intimate partner violence, Women victims, Domestic violence, Intimate partner violence and Women victims) connected by the Boolean operator "AND" and the Boolean operator "AND" was used for searches in Spanish. The methodological quality of the interventions was assessed taking into account the Cochrane Handbook (Higgins & Green, 2011), the Campbell Collaboration (The Campbell Collaboration, 2014) and the Prisma Statement Preferred Reporting Elements for systematic reviews (PRISMA for its acronym in English), Moher, Liberati, Tetzlaff and Altman, 2009). Outcome: The search strategy implemented with the code bank yielded a total of 870 studies, of which 38 met the eligibility criteria and were included in the review. The general characteristics of the selected studies are reported, in which there is evidence of a greater trend in publication in the English language, with Spain and the United States being the countries that were most presented in the studies and within the most used journals are Trials and Journal of interpersonal violence. Most of the studies are of the Experimental type and did not use random assignment for the sample, likewise, the most used statistic for the results of the interventions is Cohen's d and the most evaluated variables were depression, anxiety and PTSD. In general terms, most studies do not provide enough information to determine the efficacy of the interventions. |
