The harmonious development of a society is based on peace, stability, human rights, and good governance. However, around the world, there is a growing divide between peaceful and conflict regions. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 16, seek just and peaceful societies with strong institutions for a sustainable future, but face challenges. A bibliometric analysis of SDG 16 over the last 10 years was conducted using Scopus, without language or geographic location restrictions. Tools such as SciVal and VOSviewer were used to analyze data and trends. The results show an increase in publications on SDG 16, but a decrease in citations. The weighted impact has remained stable. The most studied areas are social sciences, medicine, and humanities, highlighting the need for interdisciplinary collaboration. International collaboration is important, but with the corporate sector is limited. Most publications are in the Q1 quartile. Co-occurrence analysis of terms reveals diverse approaches to research. These findings inform trends and key areas for future research and policy related to peace, justice, and strong institutions. Research on this Goal has grown, but the decline in citations raises questions about its impact. It highlights the need for interdisciplinary collaboration and strengthened collaboration with the corporate sector to effectively address these challenges.application/pdfspaUniversidad de la CostaJurídicas CUC - 2024https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessEsta obra está bajo una licencia internacional Creative Commons Atribución-NoComercial-SinDerivadas 4.0.http://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_abf2https://revistascientificas.cuc.edu.co/juridicascuc/article/view/5355Sustainable DevelopmentClimate ChangeHuman RightsUnited NationsJusticePeacecambio climáticodesarrollo sosteniblederechos humanosNaciones UnidasjusticiapazPaz, justicia e instituciones sólidas en Latinoamérica (ODS 16): un análisis bibliométrico (2013-2022)Peace, justice, and strong institutions in Latin America (SDG 16): a bibliometric analysis (2013-2022)Artículo de revistahttp://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_2df8fbb1Textinfo:eu-repo/semantics/articleJournal articlehttp://purl.org/redcol/resource_type/ARTinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionhttp://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85Jurídicas CUCAlaimo, L.
