Efectividad de la función de concreción de la obligación alimentaria de los defensores de familia en la ciudad de Barranquilla entre los años 2015 y 2017

The purpose of the article is to analyze the effectiveness of the function of delimitation of food support that family defenders had in the Department of Atlántico and in the city of Barranquilla between 2015 and 2017. The methodology used was documental, bibliographic review and critical analysis, which examined the data that allowed establishing the effectiveness of the fulfillment of the food support of family defenders affiliated with the Colombian Family Welfare Institute (Instituto Colombiano de Bienestar Familiar). It is mainly concluded that there is low participation in the Department of Atlántico and in the city of Barranquilla in conciliation hearings regarding the average of the country, reason why the need to encourage the use of zonal centers of the municipalities that seek the resolution of conflicts over food support for children.
