Summary:The diplomatic relations between Colombia and Venezuela have their beginnings with bordering conflicts, obtained as results agreements and treaties, regarding the scoop of a bilateral trade and binational integration having positive results for both; Over the years and the arrival of new mandates in the periods of 2006-2014, these relations presented ups and downs due to the ideological differences of the Colombian governors Álvaro Uribe Vélez and Juan Manuel Santos, for Venezuela Hugo Chávez Frías and Nicolás Maduro Moro , resulting in the deterioration and social, humanitarian and economic imbalances of great importance in the dairy sector, in which this Colombian sector presents a strategy of expansion and alliance towards Venezuela which exhibited a supply deficit, which has a negative impact at the time for Colombia, in favor of Venezuela. In this research, the model of this study was explanatory and correlational, based on a descriptive methodology that allows carrying out the characterization of Colombian-Venezuelan diplomatic relations and in the second part a correlation methodology is used to establish the consequences from the diplomatic relations in the dairy sector from the available variables; with a methodological research approach of qualitative analysis resulting in a bibliographic review
