Summary: | The present study is oriented towards a historical context of the aspects and factors that have arisen during the peace process in Colombia, which dates back to the years of the independence of South America, in which they made use of violence in order to fight for the freedom of the Spanish yoke, and although in that battle the nation achieved its freedom, the waves of violence did not cease, years later and due to disagreements in the state policy before the liberal and conservative parties, groups of confrontations originated in the rural area of Colombia, in the search for power, domain, justice, social rights, among others. Thus, armed groups emerged in Colombia that began with the function of protecting their lands, and as the years passed they demanded land rights and better working conditions. The main objective of this investigation is to analyze from a historical perspective those facts that gave rise to the armed groups in conflict and the actions of the government against these facts, applying a qualitative research approach, of documentary bibliographic type, because the information compiled was through secondary sources, and performing the historical analysis through a timeline of the relevant aspects to finally establish the conclusions of the study. |
