Summary:The following research aims to establish the effects produced by the application of statistical tables and graphs as a strategy for the strengthening of communication skills in 9th grade students of I.E.D MUNDO BOLIVARIANO. This work is carried out under conceptions of curricular design and follows a quantitative route, from statistical and mathematical analysis is emphasized, seeking to collect information through experimentation. It is framed in the empirical-analytical paradigm, since it supports the hypothesis by statistical means, evidencing in this way what is observable and verifiable, in addition, It is carried out under the quasi-experimental pre-test / post-test design. Which involve the comparison of the treatment and control groups as in the random tests. The treatment or experimental group serves as its own control (the "before" is compared with the "after") and time series methods are used to measure the impact.For the investigation, the ninth grade groups of the I.E.D MUNDO BOLIVARIANO were taken, being 9 ° A, with 32 students, the experimental group and, 9 ° B, with 30 students, the control group. The two groups were given the pre-test and post-test for data collection and statistical analysis, with the aim of knowing the result obtained by the experimental group after carrying out the interventions with the use of workshops on the application of statistical tables and graphs for the strengthening of communicative competences.
