Description
Summary:This project presents a proposal for innovation in the classroom that aims to address the challenges and difficulties that both students and teachers present in the teaching-learning process of the Signals and Systems course. The innovation consists in the design of simulator software which is a tool where the fundamental topics in the Signals and Systems course are addressed, such as: Signals and their basic concepts, Convolution, Fourier Series, Fourier Transform, and voice analysis. by spectral representation. The topics addressed were selected according to the study plan of the subject of the Universidad de la Costa and in the order in which the topics are viewed. This software also has a user manual where the student can perform some tests and simulations of the software through a step-by-step guide; in the same way, it is designed to be articulated with the class dictated by the teacher and to strengthen the independent work of the students. For the development of the software, the Python programming language is used using a virtual environment created with Anaconda and the Visual Studio Code IDE, together with a graphical interface created with Pyqt5 Designer. The tool is available to students and teachers so that they can be used on their computers and included in classes.
