Summary: | The Universidad de la Costa - Colombia has define dresearch policies of high scientific and social impact, through the streng thening of its capacities; hence itis important to develop this study whose purposeis to analyze the main cognitive-emotional strategies (mental molds) that characterize the cognitive-emotionalprofile of researchers categorized before COLCIENCIAS at theUniversity. This analysis is based on the deployment of capacities, associated with emotion al intelligence and cognitive intelligence of the simple under study, there fore ther elevance of the standardized test Moldes (Hernández-Guanir, 2010) is determined for the characterization of there ferred strategies. Themethodologicalcomponentisfocusedonanempiricistquantitativeapproach, whose design considers the application of the Moldes test, which allow sobtaining information related to the emotional cognitive profile variable and its associated dimensions: vital spontaneity, adjustments and optimization. Statistical processing involves a multiple linear regression analysis foreach personality factor, where the independent variable is represented by the focal frames of the mold test and the dependent emotional cognitive profile. There sults validate there lation ship betweent hestated dimensions (vital spontaneity, adjustment and optimization have significantly high contribution percentages) and theway in which the cognitive profile is expressed. It is concluded that the characterization of mental molds represents in it self a strategy of significant relevance, to streng then the cognitive cognitive profile of researchers, since it becomes the frame of reference on which the University could guide policy guide lines focused in consolidating his human talent. |
