Summary: | The purpose of business strategies is to create value for their customers at the lowest possible cost, for this the organizations must have sustainable competitive advantages and establish formal decision procedures in order to align actors and resources to achieve organizational objectives. In this process, strategic management, integrated among other aspects by the control, plays a fundamental role. In accordance with the above, this research aims to determine the relationship between the control of senior management strategies and competitive advantage in the Health Services Providers of Barranquilla. The literature review allowed to study the variables under study and an instrument with Cronbach's Alpha reliability of 0.811 was applied, which shows its high reliability. The research is quantitative with non-experimental design of cross-sectional transection cut that measures the relationship between variables in a given time. The analysis of results was made from inferential statistics, which showed that the correlation between the variables "Control of top management strategies" and "Competitive advantage" is very weak, additionally the sector's tendency is toward competitive equilibrium and the non-existence of differentiating factors among the organizations studied. |
