| Summary: | The goal was to design a Health and Safety at Work Management System (SGS - ST) at the Universidad de la Costa CUC), extension Villavicencio, with legal basis in Decree Law 1072 of 2015 and technical guide OSHAS 18001 2007, to control, assess and minimize the occurrence of incidents, accidents and occupational diseases for the benefit of the University's welfare and productivity; the descriptive - proactive research method, with a qualitative - quantitative approach, allowed to analyze the Colombian normativity related to the SG - OSS, which applies to the University; make a diagnosis of their current conditions, facing the dangers and risks to which they are exposed during their work; the hazards in their facilities and propose the SGS - ST for the University, in compliance with the legal requirements of Decree 1072 of 2015 chapter 6, implementing as a support guide the OSHAS 18001 of 2007. By not complying with the regulations the alma mater, the SG - SST was designed, concluding that with this document the Universidad de la Costa Extension Villavicencio", will have a tool as a guideline, to execute in its entirety and comply with the standards in mention. In addition, it is suggested that the Academic Coordination implement a meeting schedule to follow up on the established activities and comply with legal requirements. |
