Summary:This article presents the findings, after studying business cases associated with the Arab community, represented by the Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese in Barranquilla-Colombia, who demonstrate how culture represents a differentiating element, which has strengthened the value proposition of their organizations, in order to examine their impact on entrepreneurial processes, development and permanence of their businesses; for methodological purposes this study was delimited in the city of Barranquilla, analyzing experiences of Arab leaders, migrants and descendants of the near eastern region. A qualitative approach, supported by the methods: phenomenological and case study, is taken together, allowing a conscious interpretation of participants' experiences, their specific perceptions, which facilitated the identification of entrepreneurship in Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese settled in Barranquilla, originates not only as an alternative, but as a need to make face the limitations and opportunities of the environment looking at how culture assumes as a living, proper and determining feature of the system of beliefs and values that are replicable to the organizations and whose lessons have contributed to the sustainability of their enterprises
