Summary: | The purpose of this research is to understand the stress on teachers of Spanish language of the I.E.D. Thelma Rosa Arévalo, when dealing with summative assessment of skills in high school students; so that changes in the classroom are generated as a result of the shared reflection. From a methodology of action research, through the development of documented review, non participant observation and discussion groups with teachers of Spanish language, describing assessment practices in the everyday life of teachers, showing the stress and critical factors that keep the accurate assessment of skills from happening. The results show unsophisticated attempts of teachers to assess skills, due to lack of training, difficulty in test elaboration and insufficient resources for this purpose. It is concluded, based on the reflections of teachers, that there is a need to continue encouraging them in the renewal of the evaluation process through institutional support by use of workshops of update. |
