Summary: | The main objective of this research was to determine the effectiveness of didactic mediations focused on music, on the strengthening of the axiological component of sixth grade B students of the Olaya district educational institution in the city of Barranquilla, Atlántico, Colombia in the year 2018. In this institution, the sixth grade is organized into four courses, which are A, B, C and D, which add up to a total of 139 students. Sixth grade B, which was the grade in which the research was developed, is made up of 35 students, 22 male and 13 female and constitute 25% of sixth grade students. Through direct observation and analysis of instruments such as the student's observer, citations for misconduct, and a survey of all the teachers who teach in the aforementioned grade, 16 students were identified who presented disrespectful, intolerant and unsympathetic behaviors. To diminish the previous disruptive behaviors, a series of workshops were designed and implemented to encourage respect, tolerance and solidarity. The content of the aforementioned workshops, together with the description, analysis and reflection on the application of the same, as well as the conclusions and recommendations, are placed at the consideration of the educational community. |
