description El objetivo fue analizar la relación entre las horas totales, automatizadas y manuales de vuelo, la flexibilidad cognitiva y la atención focalizada en una muestra de pilotos colombianos. El método utilizado fue el empírico analítico, diseño no experimental, correlacional-predictivo y transversal. La muestra estuvo conformada por 100 pilotos, asumiendo un nivel de confianza del 95%. Los resultados muestran correlaciones negativas bajas entre las variables de Stroop Interferencia y la totalidad de horas estudiadas, así como entre Stroop conflicto y horas de vuelo manuales, Adicionalmente, se encontró correlación positiva baja entre wisconsin categorías y horas de vuelo manuales. La regresión mostró modelos predictivos para la atención focalizada, más no para la flexibilidad cognitiva. Se concluye que existen relaciones y predicciones entre las horas de vuelo totales y la atención focalizada
