Summary: | The research “Reconciliation as a way to solve interpersonal conflicts to strengthen school coexistence” is framed by the need to improve the social interactions among fifth-grade students of the Pozos Colorados District Educational Institution Santa Marta city, through the appropriation of the reconciliation as a mechanism for solving their interpersonal conflicts. Based on the pragmatic paradigm, observation, context reading, interview and poll were implemented as data collection strategies to identify the main problems of school coexistence, their causes and projections in the educational field. Taking the mixed approach as a reference, this research process made it possible to diagnose the contextual elements that affect relationships between academic peers, as well as to identify reconciliation tools that foster healthy coexistence and the strengthening of harmonious school environments. Obtained results highlight the importance of assuming a critical position regarding the interaction between students and the effectiveness of forgiveness and reconciliation for the reestablishment of their socio-affective bonds. |
