Description
Summary:In this research work, hydraulic mortar cubes were prepared, using groundwater to prepare the mixture, evaluating its resistance through compression tests and comparing them against control mortar cubes prepared with drinking water. The results indicated that the groundwater used is suitable as water for concrete, since the average resistance of the mortar cubes made with this type of water was 96.5% resistance at 7 days with respect to the standard sample, thus being within the limits allowed by NTC 3459; On the other hand, when characterizing drinking water and groundwater, it was observed that these two types of water have similar values in most of the physicochemical parameters measured, except in dissolved oxygen and hardness.
