Este documento contiene en detalle, la metodología necesaria para la elaboración de un programa de mantenimiento preventivo en la subestación eléctrica de la universidad de la costa CUC, haciendo énfasis en la descripción de las diferentes partes que componen una subestación, pruebas, mediciones y ensayos establecidos por normas eléctricas, para la protección del sistema y mejorar la vida útil de los equipos. Esta tesis, emplea el mantenimiento preventivo como herramienta primordial para buscar una mejor eficiencia en el sistema eléctrico de la universidad de la costa, CUC y así disminuyendo el tiempo que se pierde al realizar reparaciones no previstas, produciendo el menor costo posible y teniendo como referencia las normas de seguridad en todo momento. Así mismo, muestra la gran importancia de las disposiciones técnicas y de seguridad que exige el reglamento técnico de instalaciones eléctricas (RETIE), en cuanto a subestaciones eléctricas tipo interior incluyendo las sugerencias y mejoras para el correcto funcionamiento del sistema eléctrico en general. |

This thesis uses the importance of preventive maintenance as a primary tool to seek a better efficiency in the electrical system of the University of the Coast, CUC and thus decreasing the time lost to unscheduled repairs, reducing the cost of repairmen following the rules of safety standards at all times.
