Summary:This document is the result of an investigation to opt for the title of Master of Education, where the objective of the study was to analyze the institutional factors associated with the management areas of the guide 34 against the student's academic performance in the saber 11 tests in institutions. stratum 1 and 2 officers for the period between the years 2017 - 2019; period before the global COVID-19 pandemic. The study was developed under an empiricist approach based on the inductive method using content analysis and questionnaires as instruments to collect information in a sample made up of managers, students and teachers of 11th grade. The findings show that the results in the saber 11 tests are greatly influenced by the factors associated with the guide 34 since in educational institutions they direct the pedagogical act. It is concluded that each management area with its respective components and processes guide the operation of educational establishments, and these represent the institutional factors that dynamize the duty of educational institutions.
