Summary:The research was developed with the purpose of Analyzing the relationship of Ethnomathematics with Cultural Change in solving mathematical problems. Theoretical references related to Ethnomathematics, Problem Solving and Cultural Change were addressed, supported by the methodology from the perspective of the Qualitative Descriptive - Analytical paradigm with the Introspective Experiential approach, added to the application of an open interview script, By telephone, due to the conditions of the declaration of the COVID-19 pandemic, to a sample of nine mathematics teachers from differentiated Ethno-educational contexts and the analysis carried out to the Mathematics area plans of the institutions that link the actors, it was allowed to interpret the appreciations and, incidentally, knowing the current conditions of pedagogical work, which helped to conclude that the daily activities carried out by the students unconsciously allow them to solve mathematical problems, highlighting that the purchase and sale of products, the accompaniment of parents in work activities, among other; Many of these actions are taken into account by the teachers who adapt them within the steps of the problem-solving strategies, these in cases are the same as those developed in non-Ethnoeducational contexts. Finally recommend in the study, the importance of Ethnomathematics as a science and knowledge of the context to achieve cultural change in problem solving from the area of mathematics, which makes a contribution to the improvement of the academic performance of students and the strengthening of the cultural values.
