Summary: | In this document intends to explain from the framework of the architectural design workshop six pedagogical strategies for workshops to conceive an architectural concept by third semester students of architecture. It must be recognized that the concept is the essence of architectural design, and includes the abstract and subjective idea and the entire mental and graphic process to reach a physical materialization, although it is not the final result since this requires a long way to go. The architectural concept works as an aesthetic and functional guide or even adaptation to the environment. An explanatory tour will be carried out in the order in which the six pedagogical strategies are analyzed in the workshop of the subject of Design Methods and Typologies, showing examples of the results of the exercises carried out by the students and how they manage to appropriate that knowledge. Finally, there will be a reflection on how these strategies help students change architectural thinking for art and they managed to conceive their own concept. |
