Summary: | The literature has widely demonstrated the effect of knowledge management on the performance of SMEs, adopting a mainly systemic approach, however, few studies have been carried out from alternative views of this variable. Therefore, the objective is to structurally examine the dimensions of knowledge management in the exporting industrial SMEs in Barranquilla. For this, a positivist, explanatory, non-experimental, cross-sectional research was carried out. The main findings reveal that the structural dimensions of knowledge management are grouped into two factors that explain 93.9% of the total variance. From this approach, the possibility of revealing the importance of the structural component is highlighted, which is normally less prominent in the context of SMEs, highlighting its role of support and orientation of individual learning practices towards the core competencies of the organization. |
