Summary:This research was carried out with the objective of generating changes in the didactics used for environmental education in the context of Covid-19, by the fifth-grade teachers of the Gilma Royero Solano Educational Institution in the municipality of Santa Bárbara Pinto, in the department of Magdalena - Colombia. In methodological terms, qualitative strategies were used, specifically Participatory Action Research (PAR) and the techniques and instruments for the collection of information were carried out through a documentary review of the natural sciences study plan, a semi-structured interview with four participating teachers and groups of discussion, training workshops and focus groups. The population under study consisted of four (04) fifth grade teachers. The work was divided into three phases: preparation of the theme, plan-actionobservation, and, finally, reflection and transformation. That allowed to collectively build a didactic sequence for the improvement in the didactics used by the teachers and three training workshops are carried out, oriented to the didactics mediated by ICT for environmental education, making the teachers participating in the research appropriate technological tools , which allowed them to put what they learned into practice and in this way bring to the classroom strategies that allow them to improve their performance from didactics aimed at creating environmental awareness in students.
