Diseño de una guía ambiental para la gestión integral de residuos hospitalarios en el Distrito de Barranquilla

The present research aims to contribute to the management of medical waste and the like through the design of an environmental guide to facilitate the implementation of management plans and compliance with environmental requirements It started from the characterization of generators users, based the information contained in the records of the Administrative Department of the Environment of Barranquilla (DAMAB) for the years 2008-2010 DOFA analysis was conducted, which identified deficiencies in the implementation of strategies, plans, system procedures, hospital waste management in the city that does not conform to the provisions of Decree 2676 of 2000 and in the operating environment ministry, by the generator and special service companies amenities. In the environmental guide compiled a series of practical procedures for the implementation of Integrated Management System for Hospital Waste Management, Internal and external management. So that will coordinate personnel, equipment, materials, supplies, supplies, plan activities and financial resources that will participate in each of the stages of implementation of the same
