Summary:Investigative work inspired by the analysis of a challenging situation in terms of the researching activities developed by the student community of the department of Electronic Engineering, this work had the objective the production of new solving alternatives integrated in a pedagogical plan in which the main goal is to develope an investigative culture in the students of the department. Was developed an analysis of the information recollected from the teachers, the senior students, the members of the directive department of the Corporation. This document is the outcome of an investigative process which pointed to diagnose the situation of the Technological Research activities in the academic community of the Electronic Engineering department. The development of this research was based in the social-critical paradigm with an ethnographical approach because through this it was identified the empowering of an investigative culture in the academic community. The data was obtained through surveys and interviews pointed to the main actors in the educational role
