Summary: | The imitation of natural abilities of the human being constitutes one of the greatest challenges facing scientists and engineers, currently The World Health Organization (WHO) and the World Bank have presented a world time where the more than 1000 million people in the world experiencing some form of disability. This project will propose and implement a home automation system that allows to solve the daily difficulties that a person with disabilities may face in their daily lives. This system is capable of controlling a home automation room through voice commands. This application is focused on people with quadriplegia. One of the main features is the implementation of voice recognition through the Easy Vr3 device, to obtain home automation control, as well as embedded systems such as Arduino for the programming part. As a result, a home automation system was obtained for people with voice-controlled quadriplegia, this system can: open doors, monitor temperature, smoke detection, turn off and light bulbs and also interact with the user. |
