Description
Summary:This research aimed to analyze the management of communication in educational institutions of Barranquilla in order to promote values and road culture in students, teachers and employees in school environments. It is a quantitative and descriptivecorrelational study, with a non-experimental and empirical approach, which uses a Likert questionnaire with four analysis variables. The sample consists of 190 subjects corresponding to 32 managers, 77 teachers and 81 students of eleventh of educational institutions. Within the results, more than 50% of the population studied ignores the processes of communication management; 83% do not apply or use communication strategies; 71% are unaware of road rules and policies and more than 50% lack values related to road safety, therefore, communication management is deficient. It is concluded that school institutions require a comprehensive strategy that involves all private and public actors, so that a culture of strong and consistent road value can be built and traffic deaths and traffic accidents are drastically reduced
