Description
Summary:The purpose of the investigation was to evaluate the organizational communication of Carbones del Cerrejón Limited. According to a quantitative, descriptive, non-experimental methodology with a transectional and field design, using the communications division as observation units, comprised of ten (10) subjects, to whom a questionnaire structured by twenty-five subjects was applied. Five (25) Likert-type items that were validated by ten (10) experts and whose reliability was rtt = 0.88, giving credibility and accuracy to what the questionnaire revealed, calculated by the Alpha Cronbach formula. Among the results, it is worth mentioning that the affected dimension was the barriers, followed by the organizational communication models, with the current situation, elements and levels gaining strength. In this regard, it is concluded that there is a favorable communication environment, where exchanges of ideas arise between collaborators and leaders, making clear the good use of internal communication of the company in the different work groups. It is evident that communication between different groups is impacted by culture and overload of information, sometimes making it difficult to obtain the objectives set by the company.
