Summary:This research was made with the purpose of promote the involvement of the family in the process of integral formation of the students of the primary school, in the educational communities Sanjoseísta and Inedilista, from a qualitative introspective-experiential approach, under a critical socio-economic paradigm. -, based on Iafrancesco's theories (2015), ACODESI (2016), Bronfenbrenner (1987). The techniques used to collect the data were the participant observation, the semi-structured interview and the focus group, using for this the registration's tools or daily's notes, script of semi-structured individual interview and focal group, applied to fourteen parents of the communities wich are being studiyng. The analysis of the data was carried out through the N-Vivo Software, twelfth version, through which it was possible to organize and extract the emerging categories related to the dimensions associated with the study categories. The results allowed to identify that, the participation of the family is relevant in the processes of integral formation of the children, concluding with this research that family and school, must continue a cooperative work that helps to enforce their relationship on a bidirectionall way, acquiring a values system that improves to the harmonic development of the being. Accordingly, the recommendations were directed to implement training spaces for parents, as key actors in the educational process, so that they can be effectively participate on it.
