The epistemological assumption was rationalistic and the research route was the formulation of initial guesses, the analysis of implicit theories, the construction and validation of a theoretical model, and finally, the design of practical guidelines. This curriculum integration proposal finds its seat in a vision of interdisciplinarity which projects a kind of horizontal and vertical relationship among the different areas of knowledge, and may be seen as a process that runs transversely within the curriculum.

El enfoque epistemológico asumido fue racionalista y la ruta de investigación seguida fue la formulación de conjeturas iniciales, el análisis de las teorías implícitas, la construcción y validación de un modelo teórico, finaliza con la derivación de lineamientos prácticos.
