Description
Summary:The main objective of this research project is to propose strategies to optimize the management of the cash cycle of the Family Agricultural Livestock Units of the bovine subsector in the Department of Atlántico. With the purpose of generating alternatives that motivate development in the region, and allow for the development of livestock activity which has very defined financial and treasury management needs, in order to be able to endure over time and be competitive in an increasingly changing market. This research is theoretically based on the following postulates: Van horn & Wachowicz (2002), Gitman (2007), Shin & Soemon (1998) and Pindado (2001). The methodological approach is supported by quantitative, descriptive, transectional and field research. A sample of 31 family farming units was considered, facilitated by the Asociación de Ganaderos de la Costa Norte Colombiana, where a survey with several ranges of response options was implemented as an instrument. And it could be concluded that farmers need to integrate backwards, in order to improve supplier processes, among other things, and collaborative work is considered the main strategy for negotiating with customers.
