Propuesta de un modelo de sostenibilidad para la facultad de ciencias ambientales de la Universidad de la Costa

The project focused on making a proposal for a model of sustainability and indicators for the School of Environmental Sciences at the University of the Coast. To achieve the current state of sustainability was analyzed, allowing to establish indicators to use and finally propose such a model. The methodology was an adaptation of the text of Valderrama and Rodolphe (2013). Accordance with the objectives, such as: revision of reference material, visual diagnosis, survey design, statistical model application, survey results, compared with bibliographical sources and socialization to the community. This allowed to know the perception of students, teachers and administrators faculty on indicators of each of the components of sustainability. The analysis represents a contribution to the work of the School of Environmental Sciences and delivers an important input to this launch its leadership as promoting sustainable campus within the University of the Coast.
