Incidencia de las políticas distritales implementadas entre los años 2017-2018, respecto a la violencia de género en contra de la mujer en la ciudad de Barranquilla

The objective of this study is to identify and provide information about the existence and execution of district public policies regarding gender violence against women in the city of Barranquilla 2017 - 2018, with the intention of verifying that they are are carrying out actions concerning the reestablishment of the rights of women, being this a subject of special protection, categorized as a vulnerable population, therefore, it is necessary to guarantee the real and effective protection of their human rights, referring to their dignity human and equal conditions in front of man, which is only possible to materialize through their active participation within the sociopolitical plane. Public policies have become mandatory since the enactment of Law 51 of 1981 (National Congress of Colombia, 1981), which approves the "Convention on the elimination of all forms of discrimination against women. The first chapter will present the approach to the problem and its formulation, where the need to create actions aimed at restoring the right of Colombian women who are victims of discrimination and violence will be exposed. In addition, the objectives of this research, the justification and the spatial, temporal and theoretical delimitation of the same will be presented. This chapter will also address the approach of the research methodology, whose approach is qualitative, which is based on an inductive process, which starts from the inquiry made by the researcher, about the existence of a certain fact of social significance, leading it to silver different causal hypothesis. The second chapter develops the theoretical framework where the research background obtained thanks to the bibliography documentary review that was implemented is presented, which starts from the fundamental rights of women in the framework of human rights, which later They are studied in relation to the role played by women within a society. To unravel the historical references of gender violence against women in Colombia. For the third chapter, we will find the research methodology, the sources consulted and it will culminate with a fourth chapter, in which the analysis and discussion of the results obtained will be presented.
