Summary:The research entitled: Environmental awareness management applied to the teaching staff of the Departmental Educational Institutions: El Brillante and Rodrigo Arenas Betancourt, whose general objective is to: Design a training program to maximize environmental awareness management applied to the teaching staff of the Departmental Educational Institutions: El Brillante and Rodrigo Arenas Betancourt, based on the theoretical constructs, studies and research of Báez (2016), Caro (2019), Cárdenas (2021), Valencia, (2010) Oltra, (2006), among others. Regarding the methodological framework, the study is immersed in the interpretive paradigm, with a qualitative approach with a hermeneutic phenomenological method, likewise the field of study is the Departmental Educational Institutions: El Brillante and Rodrigo Arenas Betancourt, and the analysis units are the teachers of the aforementioned institutions. The information was collected through an Interview and a Content Analysis Matrix. Among the results, there is a weakness in terms of the presence, knowledge, development and applicability of environmental awareness among teachers, therefore it is recommended to apply the aforementioned program.
