Summary: | This descriptive research was realized within the period 2007-2009, Barranquilla's Municipality, Atlántico Department delimited among the locality North historical Center (Prado, Viejo Prado, Americas, Porvenir), where a lot of hotel companies of the service sector are taken root. Its general aim based on knowing the importance of the education for the work and the human development inside the modern company. The work delimited to the Hotel sector, consequently, it considered that concentrates the competitions there, too from its different labour instances. For this work observation and interviews to Human Resources managers were used through an elaborated form with 10 questions, and to workers with three questions. Variable applied were: education for the work, human development, service sector, and Barranquilla's hotel companies, period 2007-2009. The work justified itself because it announced the importance of the education for the work and the human development for a hotel company and its workers, based on labour competitions, axis of the managerial success and good way to get to the competitiveness. Abraham Maslow, Gary Backerl´s theories and limits of the Decree 2888/07 Of the National Education Department were applied. The results found were that the hotel companies visited coincided with that the education for the work and the human development of its workers is priority. Its concluded, then, that any company, hotel manager or not, must offer attention to their training plans they realize annually as management of any Human Resources Department. |
